Niloak Black Vase?
Niloak Company sold some Mirror Black Glaze items designed by Lewis as shown on Plate 161, Page 271 of the Gifford encyclopedia. The vase shown below is NOT included in the book and I can't see a Niloak mark on the bottom. You can look for yourself on the large picture of the bottom of the vase at the bottom of this page.

There are some quality issues. You can see small pits where the black glaze bubbled during firing. |
